Scope

Retail

A warm shoe store composed with timber-slatted walls, backlit display shelving and marble flooring.

The idea was to present the product like a display case. Shelving runs the length of the walls and is lit from behind, so every pair sits in front of the light, evenly and without shadow.

Material

Timber slats on the walls and ceiling, veined white marble underfoot. The columns are wrapped in hexagonal lines of light and become the focal point of the room.

Experience

A seating group in the middle of the floor gives customers a calm place to try things on without hurry.
