What is Corian? The design freedom of a seamless solid surface

Corian is an acrylic based solid surface material enriched with natural minerals and pigments. It reads as one seamless piece, takes shape easily and is hygienic, durable and elegant.

Curved worktops, integrated basins, wall linings, custom furniture and fully integrated solutions. Because it thermoforms, the sheet can be heated and bent — a freedom stone and timber simply do not offer.

A wide palette runs from bright white through cream, sand and light grey to deep anthracite, plus concrete, bone and marble-patterned options.

Points to watch

• Do not set very hot pans directly on the surface.
• Avoid cutting directly on it with knives.
• Scratches can be sanded out — an advantage stone worktops do not have.
• Regular cleaning keeps the finish looking new.
